Amaras last dance class

Here are pictures from Amara's last dance class. It's pretty cute to see a bunch of little girls in their ballet uniforms. This was Amara's second semester of dance class and she had a lot of fun. Enjoy the photos. A cute little story unrelated to dance....Amara was looking into my eyes and asking what color my eyes were. I asked her to tell me and as she got closer she said that they were green, blue, black, and white. Then with a puzzled look on her face she got even closer staring real intently into my eyes and said, "mom theres a picture in your eye." I asked her what it was and she said that it was a picture of Amara. Pretty darn cute....

Amara and sierra

I can't resist and must post a couple pics of Amara with Sierra. Notice there are none of Amara and Tenaya (our puppy) because the two of them fight like siblings. So I have to keep the two of them apart.....

Day at the pool

Here are a few more photos of us at our dear friend Scott's pool plus a couple more extras....enjoy

Family photos

Hello everyone, here are a few recent photos. One is Amara getting ready for gymnastics class and the others are the girls fooling around. Sydney has discovered her hands and is reaching for everything. One funny little story is she was looking at my ring (it's a sapphire) and she was trying to reach for it. However once she put her hand in front of the ring and could no longer see it she was then focused on her hand. Out of sight out of mind...... We just got the little seat that she is sitting in and it's crazy to see my "baby" sitting up like a big girl.
Last, we got the girls pictures by an amazing photographer. Her name is Jamie Ibey and she is a wonderful spirit and has an incredible talent for taking pictures. I found her through a google search. Check out her website www.iseebeauty.com and enter the site. Scroll down and click on proofing and then the password is Sydney. The pictures are up until June 1st so enjoy them.
We love you all....

Beautiful life

I know that I am positing a lot right now, I am just so excited to share with everyone my beautiful little girls. I have been so full of this overwhelming emotion of being a mom. Words can not express how lucky I feel and what a wonderful life I have. I am so grateful for my husband and my little girls. Daniel is working full time and studying for the bar exam. He is incredibly smart and we all believe in him. Sydney is giving lots of eye contact and makes my heart melt with her little coos and smiles. But of course everytime I bring out a camera to capture her smiles, she stares at it with this curious look on her face. But, as soon I capture it, I will share with everyone. Amara, of course is full of joy and talking, singing, and dancing all over the place. She amazes us everyday with her intelligence and her charm. Beautiful beautiful beautiful life!!!!

amara swim class

Here are some pictures of Amara in her last day of swim class. She started her lessons on Monday and her progress has been amazing. I am so proud of her. She is diving under the water and retrieving rings and swimming about 5 ft by herself. She is so darn proud of herself as we are of her. My neighbor and good friend Maida came as well as daddy. She was kicking and going crazy. Her little teacher told her that her legs go 99 mph. Too cute.

The birth of the shart

Philip Seymour Hoffman's funniest role - Sandy Lyle in Along Came Polly

Sandy Lyle: Reuben, I'm in a situation here. We have to leave now.
Reuben Feffer: No. Can we stay a couple more minutes?
Sandy Lyle: Dude, no. This is serious. I just sharted.
Reuben Feffer: I don't know what that means.
Sandy Lyle: I tried to fart and a little shit came out. I just sharted. Now let's go.
Reuben Feffer: You're the most disgusting person I've ever met in my life.

I lied....one more post for today

Last catch up post......

Here are pictures of Amara putting lipstick on Sierra....she missed her lips a bit....

Alright, this will be my last post of the day, doing a little catch up. Let me tell you a little bit about what is going on in our lives. Amara has been going to swim class and is doing awesome. She cried for the first 3 days and then today there were no tears. She turned to go into the pool with her swim teacher and has a little bit of fear in her eyes, but I gave her a reassuring look and she turned and went into the pool with dry eyes. I was so proud of her. She walked right into the pool and on her own put her head into the water to retrieve rings. She is also swimming about 5 feet without anyone holding on to her. I am so incredibly proud of her. She is practicing for tomorrow when daddy is going to come and watch her last day of swim class. I'll post pics of that tomorrow. Wish you all could be here.

A weekend at the beach

We spent the past weekend at Grandpa Rons. My sister was a soldier and joined me on my Big Sur race. Boy, do I have a long way to go to get in shape. Awesome weekend, great company, and of course a "glorious place to be" as my father in law Ron would say. Oh and this was Sydney Joy's first trip to the beach........

Just like Mommy

Here is a picture of Amara carrying her baby in a sling, just like I carry Sydney.

more homelife

On your mark get set go....Amara showing off her new running shoes. These are her first pair. It was so cute, when she got home she asked me if I wanted to go on a run this weekend. I could not believe my little girl said that. Does she even know what a weekend is?

dukes hanging out

Here is my silly little angel hanging out at home. She is so excited about her new running shoes.....mommies little girl. Ha, not if daddy has any say.
